Anna Laetitia Barbauld the female Author from Romantic Literature Period. Anna Laetitia Barbauld was a prominent English Romantic poet, essayist, British writer, literary critic, children's author and editor whose best writings are on political and social themes. Anna Laetitia Barbauld original name is Anna Laetitia Aikin was born on 20 June 1743 at Kibworht Harcourt in Leicestershire and death on 9 March 1825. The only daughter of John Aikin and Jane Aikin. Anna Barbauld’s father was headmaster of the Dissenting academy in Kibworth Harcourt and ministerat nearby Presbyterian church.
